A new storage tank having a capacity of more than 25 cubic metre, entirely made in AISI 304 2B stainless steel was delivered in the last few days to FLAMINIA S.p.A.

The casting bench is composed of a strong metal framework which is used both as a support for the moulds laying vertically on mobile trolleys and as a track for the stripping and tipping device. It is made up of a stiff framework hosting the tracks of the stripper, of a fixed head used as a mould seat, of a mobile head that can be fixed to the bench by means of levers and of the same amount of mould-holder trolleys as for the upright moulds.

The mobile head is secured during the casting stage, while it is unloosen during the stripping of the moulds. Some hoses are moreover secured to the bench and used to feed the moulds with the ceramic slip. These hoses are supplied in the amount required to empty and inject air inside them. The stripping cart is made up of the following elements: dumper rollers with a centring device for the lifting rafters of the mould, a pulley having the shape of a truncated pyramid, a supporting element that can be easily blocked, a mould lifting system. The electric panel that controls the machine is firmly secured to the machine head.It also controls the hydraulic unit installed on the stripping device and the auxiliary elements required for the control of the different functions as well as for a good operation of the machine. Inside the panel, there is a transformer used to control the low-voltage auxiliary equipment; there is also a PLC to control all the working steps of the machine..
